Tasting - Zentas Malbec

Zentas Malbec
Year: 2011
Variety: 100% Malbec (no oak, estate grown)
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Price: $8.95
Vintage Cellar Review- This Malbec presents a nice deep red color.  The nose offers intense and ripe aromas of red fruits, such as dark cherries, plums and raspberry.  On the palate it is fresh and fruity with soft tannins and a nice finish.  Pleasant and easy to drink.

My Review: This wine had a strong cherry taste and smell. It also had a rich deep red color.  I also detected hints of mocha.  It was not very tannic, and went down smoothly.  I enjoyed the dark fruit flavors.  It seemed to be a very good value for the price.  I had this wine with goat cheese.
